Vienna or Innsbruck, full time, Gross Salary: min. 43.316€ p.a.

Onlim is a leading platform provider for the automation of customer communication in the German-speaking area with strong global expansion dynamics. With our Knowledge Graph-based conversational AI platform, we make data, content and knowledge of our customers available in natural language and accessible via various channels such as chatbots, phonebots, Alexa, Google Assistant or API. The Onlim platform is available as a low-code SaaS solution, is highly scalable and can be flexibly expanded via a simple connection to customer systems.

What you’ll do:

  • As a Backend Developer you will work in a team on the dispatch of functions in a fast release cycle

  • One main task is to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

  • You will work on the design, implementation and improvement of our core APIs

  • You monitor and optimize the existing services concerning to availability and optimization

  • In roadmap discussions you take an active part

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of working experience as a backend developer for web applications and REST APIs

  • Practical experience building applications with Node.js (Express, NestJS) and TypeScript

  • Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)

  • Comfortable with Version Control (Git), Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD methodologies

  • Knowledge or practical experience with Ruby/Rails, Message Brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ) and Microservice Architecture is a bonus

  • Analytical mindset and very good programming knowledge

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about chatbots, personal Assistants

  • Passion for learning and continuously improving yourself, the processes and the team around you

  • Experience in the area of Chatbots and Voice Assistants like Amazon Alexa, and Google assistant is a plus

  • Language skills:

    • English. fluent
    • Deutsch: advantageous

  • A degree in computer science or similar field
